The County Park System provides for the management and maintenance of two bicycle trails in Itasca County. These trails provide routes for bicycle travel from Grand Rapids to Gunn Park and Grand Rapids to the St. Louis County line.
Itasca County offers sixteen separate cross-country ski trail systems that are managed by the county, cities, resorts, camps, and cross-country ski clubs.
