How It Works
The Electronic Benefits Card (EBT) is a safe, convenient and easy way to get your cash and food benefits each month. It works like a debit card. Your benefits will be put in an account that is set up for you and you must use the card to get your benefits.
Card Care
Do not bend, damage or throw away your card. If your EBT is damaged or lost, you may be charged a minimal fee for a replacement card.
Be sure you never give your PIN to someone else. Keep it secret. If you have questions about your EBT card you can view the
Minnesota EBT Card Brochure (PDF) or call customer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 888-997-2227. The
ebtEdge website also contains information on the EBT card.
